Gonet Sulcova
Chardonnay, unadorned
Champagne Gonet Sulcova was founded in 1985 when Vincent Gonet and Davy Sulcova took the reins of the family domain and settled in Épernay to build something unmistakably their own. From the start, they broke the traditional codes of Champagne bottling — Davy herself designed every bottle — while building cellars dedicated to the purest expression of Chardonnay.
The estate farms 20 hectares, 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir, split across the Côte des Blancs (Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oger Grand Crus), Montgueux, and Loches-sur-Ource. Today Karla and Yan-Alexandre, the next generation, carry the house forward.
Gonet Sulcova's signature is the low-dosage Blanc de Blancs — Champagnes that refuse to hide behind sugar, letting chalk, citrus, and time speak for themselves.
